Homemade Salsa

Even though this isn't completely related to baking, many people have asked me for my homemade salsa recipe, so I thought I would share it here!

Homemade Salsa

6-8 plum tomatoes, diced
1/2 large white onion, finely chopped
1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
8 oz sour cream, approx.
1 tbsp olive oil
juice of one lemon and/or lime
jalapeno, finely chopped (optional)

Place diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and chopped cilantro in a large serving bowl. Mix in sour cream, olive oil, lemon juice, and jalapeno. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Can be refrigerated for up to two days. Enjoy!

  • good source of minerals such as potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, and magnesium

Galatians 5:22-23
